![]() The Plumbers of Rome have performed across the United States, and have been invited to perform in Austria and Australia. They present shows for schools, theaters, and public concert programs, and actively create original multi-media projects for international distribution. On the strength of their refined musicality, powerful performing skills, and unconventional stage presentation, Plumbers of Rome won the 2010 International Harmony Sweepstakes, the “super bowl” of a cappella singing. Though you will typically see three Plumbers on stage, there are four Plumbers of Rome. Due to their busy extra-Plumber performing schedules they perform as Plumbers on a rotating schedule. He is the creator of more than a dozen award-winning a cappella groups, including the vocal rock band THROAT (2011 Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes champions), beatbox collaborative and instructional resource Mouth Beats (youtube.com/mouthbeats1, 2009 Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes champions), a cappella cover band Wonder Voice, and the 2010 Harmony Sweepstakes grand champions Plumbers of Rome. He is an accomplished choral, classical, and contemporary musician, performer, and composer. He was a headliner on the Las Vegas strip, is a sought-after clinician for vocal music, and currently tours the United States with his one-man all-vocal looping performances.
![]() Richard Steighner represents a new generation of vocal artists: a
freaky-skilled beatboxer, talented singer, and overall brilliant musician. He sang with CU-Boulder’s award-winning
co-ed a cappella group Mile 21 and Denver’s
longest- running a cappella act The 17th Avenue
All-Stars. He has become an essential part of
multiple award-winning groups, including Confidential, moosebutter, Mouth Beats, and Plumbers of
Rome, and is now
being seen by millions of a cappella fans as the drummer for Urban Method on season 3 of NBC's The
Sing-Off.
![]() Peter Driscoll is and has been an indispensable part of some of
the most successful a cappella acts to ever come out of Colorado. He was the music director for the
award-winning Mile 21 mixed a cappella group from the University of
Colorado-Boulder and currently sings with Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes
champions Confidential (2010) and THROAT (2011) as well as 2010
International Harmony Sweepstakes Finals champions Plumbers of
Rome. A graduate of CU-Boulder with a
business degree, he is currently finishing a secondary degree in music education. Lauren Woodbury is an award-winning singer, songwriter, actress,
filmmaker, and published playwright from Denver, Colorado. A graduate of Brigham Young
University-Hawaii, she currently teaches voice and piano lessons in the South
Denver area, performs with several all-vocal bands, and performs a one-woman
music theater production.
